Henjo-in has a history of more than 100 years. A 6-meter statue of Shugyo Daishi, the symbol of the temple, stands in the precincts.
There is also a Jizo statue that is said to cure illnesses, and many visitors come to the temple to dedicate their garments in thanks for being cured.
