Wakasugi Okuno-in is visited by many people making the Sasaguri Shikoku Pilgrimage. A spring called “Dokko-sui”, which is said to have been dug by Kukai, is located on the temple grounds, and many visitors take water home with them. The nearby hasami-iwa (“scissors rock”) is a mysterious rock through which it is said only the virtuous can pass.
